The goal of this project was to create an appealing and user-friendly online front store for an IOT Solutions Provider. The client works with a variety of clients, both B2B and B2C, who are typically acquired through professional referral.
The website serves as a point of contact for those who wish to learn a bit more about the company and ask for a consultation.
PROCESS
The client provided an initial brief for the new website, explaining their desire to deliver their message with SIMPLICITY, CONCISENESS & PLAYFULNESS. Their ask was that I create a one-page website to keep the navigation smooth and conceptual clutter to the minimum. The main idea revolved visualizing the play on words: "We have our Head in the Cloud, so you don't have to" in cartoonish manner, and provide an engaging visual representation of concepts that are not so easy to materialize.
The target users are mostly professionals with a technical background and an understanding of IOT concepts, and with the desire to innovate their businesses by connecting them through the Internet of Things.
For this purpose, I created a set of visuals to portray the message on the landing page as well as the different services offered by the company for their clients, using colors consistent with the company logo and desired image.

OUTPUT
The final output consisted in the development of a consistent and playful visual system, with icons that were either going to be put on a light blue background, a grey/black or on a white one. For the design of the icons I collected a few icons from the Noun Project, using them as a base for the design of mine. The main features are thin lines and a displaced filling of the elements, to create a more vivacious effect.

INTERACTIVE PROTOTYPE
The final prototype was presented in Invision to show the interactions of the website, and iterated until the desired effect was obtained. The client is currently developing the final website based on this design.
